PROGRAM AREA CONCENTRATION
Our diploma programs provide students with a skill-based approach in the areas of the Traditional Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Illustration, and Art of Gaming. Once the student completes their Diploma Program Area, the student’s portfolio will showcase a variety of professional skills required by the industry. Students will take the courses in the Program Area of their emphasis to develop their creative experience. The student must complete their Program Area emphasis at the Professional Level or Advanced Level to be awarded the Diploma of Completion. However, students are allowed to take individual courses to help develop their skills in a particular area without having to complete a Program Area emphasis.
Arts Atelier 146 Courses – each course is a four, six, or eight-week intense studio requirement. However, the student is not required to complete a Program Area to develop their skills. Some students may be working in the industry already and want to take a class to further develop their skills. We want to allow them that opportunity as a non-diploma seeking student.
